Well, it's a series of webcomics made by some schmuck, specifically in the quest format.
The whole gimmick is that the stories are interactive, and rely heavily on player participation.

At the bottom of the latest page there'll be a little prompt, and you have to type a
command describing what you want the protagonist to do, kinda like an old text adventure game.
Then, each command that I end up using is displayed with an image along with some flavor text.

For example, "Open door" or "Exit room" would be fitting commands for an image like this.

Sometimes it's not an image, though. It could be an animation, or a little minigame.
Really I just go for whatever I think would best suit the command.
